I have tried having 1, 2, and 4 cores enabled for the guest. This problem is not related to misconfiguration of the number of cores or memory for the guest. And when I start the VM box I need to minimize it first or else the guest os won't load up. The refresh rate and the response speed are also very slow.
I cannot run any other program and my screen freezes. Especially when I start the browser in the guest os.
I have never experienced this slow performance before in VirtualBox, something is clearly wrong, but what is it? And how can I fix it? I am experiencing a lot of lag while running my system.
